Fine Art Prints

James applies pigments to artist's Aquarelle, a luxurious paper that radiates the image from within its fibers. Collectors often refer to James's prints as "luminescent."

The photographer makes not more than fifteen prints in a given size. Once those prints are sold the negative is retired. Sizes range from 20 x 25 inches (ideal for bedrooms and corners), to 44 x 70 inch exhibition prints (to anchor a living room, entry hall, or other major space). Prints are made to order, and each is signed, dated and numbered by James.

The studio can provide museum-quality mounting and framing to James's exacting standards. Contact the studio to see samples. We can arrange for professional delivery and installation of large pieces.

Each photograph has its own proportions, so the sizes shown below are approximate. Please contact the studio for exact dimensions of a given print. The pigmented image melts into the margin, much like a traditional engraving. The following dimensions are for the entire Aquarelle sheet, which is generally 30% larger than the printed image.

20 x 24 inch print: $1,500. Only fifteen prints are offered in these editions.

32 x 40 inch print: $2,500. Only fifteen prints are offered in these editions.

40 x 50 inch print: $4,500. Only ten prints are offered in these editions.

44 x 70 inch print: $6,500. Only ten prints are offered in these editions.

Ordering

Should you wish to proceed to an order, we'll email you an itemized invoice. We accept personal checks.


Delivery

Once payment has been confirmed, James will make your print and deliver it within ten days. Orders for framed prints may require up to three weeks. If you have a special occasion in mind, we will try to accommodate you.


Quality

James has built a twenty-year reputation for artistry and professionalism. His work is performed to museum standards of precision and archival permanence. In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with a print, the studio will refund your purchase price.
